Child Sex Trafficking Training for MDT Professionals

The Children’s Law Center will conduct trainings on child sex trafficking for multi-disciplinary professionals throughout the state of South Carolina. The Children’s Law Center will offer this training at NO COST in designated locations throughout South Carolina. The training will provide an overview of child sex trafficking to community professionals who work with children. The training will address identifying potential victims, runaway children, services, prevention, and coordination with DSS and law enforcement.

The training session will last approximately 2.5 hours. Trainees can either register for morning or afternoon sessions. You can register for this training by clicking on the Eventbrite link beside the training session you would like to attend on the training announcement.

Who Needs to Attend: 

Multi-disciplinary, including medical professionals, school counselors and nurses, children’s advocacy center staff, mental health professionals, substance abuse treatment staff, volunteer Guardians ad litem, and community based prevention services staff.
